Your email isn’t
our product.
LaunchWords, operated by Simo, uses the minimum information needed to provide research and respond to requests. Contact the operator here for access, correction, deletion or removal requests.
What we keep
We store the brand you request, public research snapshots and source links. Email addresses and contact messages are encrypted at rest in our application store. We use a keyed hash of your email to track your allowance, and a keyed hash of your IP address for short-lived abuse limits. Public result pages do not contain your email, IP address or reviewer names.
Why we use it
Email verification unlocks three new free X-rays each calendar month. We use your email to send requested links and queued research results. Joining the Pro founding list or requesting a brief also gives us permission to contact you about that specific request. We do not sell addresses or automatically add research users to a newsletter.
Our services
Vercel hosts the app. Upstash stores data and Resend delivers email, both connected through Vercel Marketplace. Monid retrieves public source data. OpenRouter’s Space Bunny Alpha analyses public review and ad text; we remove reviewer identity fields first. Its anonymous model provider may retain prompts and completions but states they are not used for training. Live research remains disabled until its provider and spending limits are configured. These providers may process data outside your country.
Cookies and measurements
We use one essential, HTTP-only sign-in cookie, expiring after 30 days. A theme preference can be saved on your device. We count first-party product events such as visits, completed X-rays and founding-list interest. These aggregate counts do not create visitor profiles.
When Google Analytics is enabled, it stays off until you choose “Allow analytics”. It measures visits to our public pages, example interactions and successful brief or founding-list requests. A request is not recorded as a purchase. We send only fixed event labels and sanitised public page information, never your email, typed brand query or verification link.
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish visits and may process measurement data outside your country. Advertising personalisation and email matching are off. We remember your analytics choice on this device for up to 180 days. Choosing “Essential only” stops optional Google tracking; withdrawing a previous choice clears accessible Google measurement cookies and reloads the page. Previously collected data is not automatically erased.

Retention
Email contacts, requests and aggregate event counts expire after 90 days unless renewed by a new request. Jobs expire after 30 days. Rate limits expire within a day; monthly allowance counters within 60 days. Verification links expire in 30 minutes. Generated public snapshots expire after 90 days; curated gallery research stays available until corrected or removed. Cache reuse lasts seven days.
Public sharing
Research pages are designed to be shared. Anyone with an accessible result link can read its brand research. Source links lead to independent sites with their own privacy policies. Please do not submit private information as a brand query.
